The Kong Quest line of dog toys are NOT made of the same rubber that their other toy lines are made of and apparently are not heat stable. Here is what happened to 2 Kong Quest Wishbone toys left in our Subaru on a hot Wisconsin day. I find it interesting that the green one was much more damaged. Kong Customer service says they are not covered under waranty and that if they are damaged to not let the dogs chew on them. I wonder how the chemical composition of super heated plastics differ from non-heated ones. After several emails and sharing of the pics the Kong Company did send me a replacement for the green one.
